Abstract
The lateral photoeffect first observed by Wallmark has been analyzed in the one dimensional case by many investigators. Lucovsky's
theory of the effect was extended by Niu et al. to take into account the finiteness of the dimensions of the device in one dimension. In this article, the two-dimensional
effect is analyzed and compared to the I-D response. The linearity of the response as a function of the parameter
is discussed.
